The salary of a UP Police Sub-Inspector (SI)
- Minimum wage: The minimum wage for a UP police sub-inspector is ₹35,400 per month, according to the National Pay Commission (7th CPC).
- Allowances and entitlements: Other allowances and entitlements are also provided to the sub-inspector, such as life-saving allowance, rent allowance, dearness allowance, transportation allowance, medical allowance, etc.
- Salary Allowance for Municipal Corporation Area: If the work area of all inspectors is in the municipal corporation area, then they are also provided with the salary allowance of the municipal corporation area.
